I’ve been testing out different foods 🥫🍅🍋🥦 and meals 🍲 to see how each one might effect my GERD and if it’s going to give me an acid reflux flare up, gas or bloating. Most of my flare ups are a result of hiatial hernia so I took my chances with this high risk meal. I steamed some snow crab legs 🦀, shrimp 🍤and corn 🌽 on the grill with a few tablespoons of butter, lemon 🍋, garlic powder and black pepper, all risky heartburn likely seasonings. I also made some steamed broccoli 🥦 and a baked russet potato 🥔 with a 1/2 tsp. of butter. I drizzled some cilantro lime dressing onto the greens for some extra flavor. So far the issues I’m having with this meal is bloating most likely from the broccoli which is not an unusual food to cause that and scratchy soreness in my throat assuming is from the seasonings and lemon. Hopefully in a few hours I won’t be feeling any further effects 🙏🏻 and I won’t have to completely avoid these foods in the future 😞. Right now I’m going to have a warm cup of ginger tea to soothe my throat.
